Celebration Sunday – October 12
On Sunday, October 12, we will gather for a very special worship service to celebrate all that God has built among us through our two-year partnership with Ministry Architects.
Over the past two years, MUMC has renewed our mission and vision, strengthened our staff and volunteers, built sustainable ministry systems, and prepared the foundation for vibrant ministry for years to come. On Celebration Sunday, we will:
- Take part in a hands-on building project during worship, where the whole congregation will contribute to a visual symbol of what God is constructing through us.
- Give thanks and dedicate our ministries in a service of praise and gratitude.
- Enjoy fellowship together at a church-wide potluck lunch in Fellowship Hall immediately following worship. (Ovens and convection ovens will be available to keep hot dishes warm during the service.)
This will be a joyful day to look back with gratitude and look forward with hope as we prepare for our 200th anniversary and continue to reach our community with God’s love.
Worship: 10:30 a.m. | Potluck Lunch: 11:30ish
