Interfaith Food Pantry

The Interfaith Food Pantry is a community of “neighbors helping neighbors” committed to ending hunger and supporting self-sufficiency. They provide nutritious food, education and resources to inspire confidence and hope to Morris County families in need.

Morristown United Methodist Church has been in mission with the IFP by bringing food donations to the church which are then transported to the Pantry. Lists of “urgent needs” are provided to the congregation on a regular basis. We also have special food drives such as Thanksgiving Baskets and a Reverse Advent Calendar during which time we add a food item to a box each day of Advent and bring it to the church on Christmas Eve. We are always looking for new ways to promote this mission!

IFP has provided us a list of “Everyday Needs” for  reference when you are shopping.

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine you did for me”. Matthew 25:40
