Morristown United Methodist Church is delighted to once again welcome Peace Islands Institute for a Ramadan presentation followed by an Iftar dinner, the meal taken at sunset to break the daily fast during Ramadan.
Peace Island Institute’s mission is to promote inter-faith dialogue and friendship to create understanding and peace in our society. In the Muslim tradition, Ramadan is the holiest month, one of spiritual reflection, fasting and prayer.
Join us to enjoy a delicious Iftar dinner and come together with people from the Greater Morristown community for conversations that will deepen our relationships with one another one another, fostering understanding and empathy across our diverse community.
We encourage you to fast (if health permits) to be in spiritual unity with all.
