2017 Couples’ Connection Dates Announced
Being in love is a wonderful thing, right? But does it ever seem as though you and your sweetheart are speaking two different languages?
The Couple’s Connection invites couples of all stages of their journey – dating, engaged, married without kids, married with wee ones and/or teens, and empty-nesters—to join us as we learn from New York Times bestselling author Dr. Gary Chapman’s “Five Love Languages.” The book is a consistent New York Times best seller with over 5 million copies sold and translated into 38 languages!
In the six session program, couples will be guided in identifying, understanding and speaking their partner’s primary love language—quality time, words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service, or physical touch. By learning the five love languages, you and your sweetie will discover your unique love language and learn practical steps in truly loving each other.
Program dates are: January 21, February 11, March 4, April 1, May 6, and June 3. Each Saturday night session runs from 5-8:00 p.m. with creative childcare being provided 4:45 – 8. p.m. The adult program format calls for a group session from 5-6:30 p.m. after which couples’ are encouraged to go on a “date” 6:30-8:00 p.m. (or later if you have no little ones to retrieve from Kids Klub!)
The following rules are recommended for your “Date”: #1 No talk of work or kids #2 Any conversation that gets heated should be tabled for another time #3 Have fun and enjoy each other!
