Concert Series

Abendmusik and Music At Noon are the two concert series here at Morristown United Methodist Church.

Abendmusik is a series of five Saturday evening concerts held throughout the year (October, November, February, March, April). There is a reception following each of these concerts. The Abendmusik concerts have a suggested donation of $20 for adults/$15 for seniors. Students with ID are free. Advance tickets ($17/$12) are available by calling 973-538-2132.

The Music At Noon series consists of 30-minute recitals at 12:15 pm each Thursday in December and January. A light lunch is also available for purchase before or after the concert (11:30-1:30 pm). Music At Noon concerts have a light luncheon available for purchase 11:30-1:30 pm ($8 adults/$6 seniors).

Music At Morristown United Methodist Church was awarded the 2005 Outstanding Arts Organization given by the Arts Council of the Morris Area. The series is a recipient of a Block Grant given through the Morris Arts (formerly the Arts Council of Morris County). The series also is supported by individual patrons. This will be the 30th year for Abendmusik and the 35th year for Music At Noon.

Our 2014-2015 season is filled with many varied and wonderful artists.  A few of the upcoming artists will be Hanover Wind Symphony; Paul Zeigler, Pianist; Brian Harlow, Organist; City Winds Trio; Rio Clemente, Jazz Pianist; The Christmas Singers; a Valentine's Day Cabaret with Jim Fredericks; King of the Keyboard with Kevin Graf, Organist; and Mialtin Zhezha, Violinist; among others.    Click below to see our complete 2014-2015 brochure.
